This technique was already used in ancient times for producing filigree works of art. Today, this process is still valid and is even successfully used in mass production. Many smelting plant manufacturers take advantage of our many years’ experience and have the crucibles for their plants manufactured by GTS. Furthermore, in close collaboration with the jewellery industry, GTS has developed high-quality crucibles that are particularly suitable for melting platinum. The special nature of their quality guarantees a long service life in terms of reusability. This ensures economical use, so that these crucibles enjoy worldwide demand.
